Adam F. Carter

Adam F. Carter is thrilled to be back behind the microphone here at Kalamazoo Pride. He has M.C.'ed and hosted many area events. His duo improv comedy team, t&a can be seen monthly at Farmer's Alley Theatre. No stranger to the stage Adam has a long list of credits including: The title role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, both in Kalamazoo at the Whole Art Theatre, and then going on to understudy the role at Chicago's American Theatre Company. He has played Angela Arden in Charles Busch's Die Mommie Die; also Chicklett Forest in Busch's Psycho Beach Party. He has had the privilege of playing Ash in Evil Dead: the Musical, Cupid in the Eight Reindeer Monologues, as well as Bat Boy in Bat Boy the Musical. Carter appeared in the Improvised independent film Comic Evangelists with fellow improvisers fromCrawlspace Eviction, which was accepted into many film festivals including the AFI festival in Hollywood, CA. He has performed at the Chicago Improv festival and the Toronto International festival as well as Improv Olympic (I.O.) West. He teaches improv classes and workshops to students all over the state as well as owning his own salon; Spang!, that has been operational since October of 2010. G.Q. Joe

GQ Joe's life is not a drag...well actually it is and he likes it that way. Although he might be a shorter guy he assures you he's actually just fun-size. GQ Joe is just a nice guy who doesn't plan on finishing last.
GQ Joe is a drag king/male impersonator and emcee/host. This is his second year hosting Kalamazoo Pride and he is delighted to be back.
